Job Summary

The Engineering and Technical Support Group (ETSG) provides engineering and technical support to University research groups and assists the University’s educational mission by enabling technical learning opportunities for students.

Reporting to the DUNE APA Production Manager, the Production Engineer supports the research and teaching missions of the Physical Sciences Division at The University of Chicago by providing dedicated staffing to produce anode plane assemblies (APAs) for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). The Production Engineer performs common tasks independently and assists faculty and senior staff with more complex tasks.

This position is expected to start early summer of 2023 and graduating seniors are welcome to apply!
