Transfer Credit
General Petition Form - OGE
Students who wish to take an undergraduate MIT subject and receive graduate credit must complete the OGE General Petition Form. The petition must include the signature of the instructor and state the extra work that will be performed to warrant the graduate credit. It must be submitted before the class starts or within the first 2 weeks of class.
Transfer Credit Request - Registrar
Students seeking transfer credit for a subject taken at another institution need to complete the transfer credit form and follow the procedures outlined here.
Receiving MIT Credits - ME Grad Office
Students who would like to receive graduate credit for graduate subjects that they took as an undergraduate may submit the request by email to Saana McDaniel (saana@mit.edu).
